Becoming a Doula has been in my view for about five years now. However, I wanted a program that would be more than just a certification. Right before Covid, I took a training to become a doula. While I had an amazing teacher and learned about , I knew something was missing. It was the Holy Spirit.
In late 2022, I began looking for a Faith based curriculum and not only did I find it but it is also located in DFW where I reside. Over 6 weeks we learned history, current ways to partner with midwives and doctors and how to stand up as a Woman of Faith in this field.

I’ve seen lots a videos that “teach” belly binding. But this in person instruction was priceless. Everything from how to use this practice ethically and responsibly to how to make your own binders was covered. If you’re a hands on learner I’d highly recommend taking the class. I’m excited to be able to now offer this service to aid postpartum healing for the mama’s I serve.
